PILATUS AIRCRAFT has formally delivered the PC-24 Super Versatile Jet ordered by the Swiss Government for operation by the Swiss Air Force.  The aircraft, serial number T-786 (c/n 121), was officially handed over today, February 18.

The aircraft will be used primarily for travel within Europe.  The PC-24 has a range of 2,000nm (3,704km) and flies at a speed of 440kts (815km/h).  The company statesthat the PC-24 is much less expensive to operate than jets of similar cabin size.
