DELIVERIES OF the A400M Atlas C1 to the Royal Air Force have resumed, after a gap of six months. The latest arrival is ZM418, which was flown from the final assembly line at Seville-San Pablo Airport, Spain, to RAF Brize Norton, Oxfordshire, on May 4, using callsign ‘RRR4177’ and landing at 1335hrs. This brings the total delivered to the RAF to date to 19, out of 22 on order.
As previously reported on Warnsey’s World, the most recent delivery prior to this had been ZM<417 on October 19 last year. With the latest arrival, only ZM419, ZM420 and ZM421 remain outstanding from the RAF order.
